@ALegendaryDrops The game industry is really closely tied with the chip markets and other tech industries... they had the inside scoop on what was coming. So, a lot of this industry being crazy, the insane budgets making dogshit games, was just an act of looting a sinking ship.
"When they only wanna add expensive ram to optimize their games even more poorly" that is a huge issue that needs to be brought up more. Our every concept of rendering is about to change and these guys are just trying to cash in before. We should be seeing soon a whole revolution in how we render that will look like going from clay tablets to solid state drives over night.
I really liked Iron Man 3... I think this shot is from that one, but I have this thing where I feel like it's been re-edited a few times and there's a few different cuts. I remember a scene where the guy blew up and reformed being so much more wild. Then disney bought marvel. My copy on amazon disappeared. I got it returned. That all plays a HUGE factor in how rewatchable that is, I watch it thinking that scene is going to change again or something. Other than that... Ultron holds up well for me. Thunderbolts.
@TomArnold Something about all the bitterness and reluctant appreciation throughout this whole thing is very funny and sweetly familiar to me. Feels like home.
Says a guy who releases the same game every year or so. We already get predominantly uninspired cookie cutter crap from the biggest in the industry who also, as it turns out, tend to use very similar proprietary tools hidden behind nda's. Remember lord of the rings MASSIVE? We aint canceling them for that and that was nearly 30 years ago now. Yee right, these people are just on bullshit. Sure crap will come, what else is new?
@Mashiro_yuh 'like it or not this MIGHT be the direction the times are heading' .... Cause Steam has been such a failure. I appreciate your erudite regurgitation of things.
@alibomaye@Manifstofalover@sonjamorganstan I'm gunna give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you don't get the sarcasm of this because you are not from America and do not understand the context of the Lindsay Clancy case and will restrain myself from being annoyed by this.
