The Cubs have made the playoffs 11 times in my lifetime. In 6 of those, they have been eliminated without winning a game. Fun!

[MLB @MLB]

Hey, Chicago, what do you say?

The Cubs have got more games to play 👀

@Cubs are officially #CLINCHED and Postseason-bound!

Cubs officially win the tiebreaker against Arizona, and with that, their magic number for a playoff spot is 23 with 30 games remaining.

Brewers lose!

Jacob Wilson is a good defensive shortstop (OAA, FRV, and Def all have him top 10 among starting SS), but elite defensive players make errors! I don't want to rehash the Jhonny Peralta arguments from his 77 game errorless streak in 2015 while being an awful defensive SS

[swilly ☻ @swillysports]

jacob wilson has made 0 errors in 111 games but drs says he’s a bad shortstop

Ichiro was right about August in Kansas City. Go Cubs!

I'm thankful for 2025 Caleb Thielbar but holy moly 2026 Caleb Thielbar is awful

[Austin @acreardon56]

That would've been a walk-off if Peterson wasn't a dum-dum in the 1st inning, but I'll take it!

ALEX BREGMAN!!
