Seeing him alive and well feels unreal. He touches her shoulder, and Dinah turns towards him — pausing; considering. Then, in a moment, she wraps her arms around his shoulders, pulling him into a hug. “You have no idea how much I missed you.”
In an attempt to comfort, Hal gently placed a hand upon her shoulder. Forcing a smile on his face.
“You’re not wrong. But do not isolate yourself. I’m here. You need me and I’m there quicker than you can think. Things are different. They’re okay..”
Seeing Hal alive still feels so unreal — she’s lost so much, but he was the first one she did, and the ring, inherently, always felt like something borrowed than hers.
“No,” she admits, giving a shrug. “But I don’t think there’s a good way to go about this.”
/ ollie got infected and she’s just carrying him around in a bubble bag bc she can’t let him go. i don’t know whether to cry or laugh but she does have some screws loose 😭
@JadedArchery — into his space. She shouldn’t do this — definitely not, but against her better judgement, the urge to be in his arms is too strong. She wraps her arms around his shoulders, eyes closed, breathing him in. “Thank you,” she murmurs, while he’d probably never understand —
@JadedArchery — She swallows, trying to think of something, anything to say that won’t give away her lack of knowledge on what he’s talking about. “I was wondering… how you felt about it.”
@JadedArchery “…Yes.” There’s a pause before she replies. Her gaze fixated on him like she can’t believe he’s alive; grief bubbling up inside her. She’s missed him so much that the fact that this isn’t her Ollie and she shouldn’t be talking to her doesn’t even stop her. —
