They took a trip to @EscapeRoomsCF and completed the room with 10 minutes and 23 seconds to spare⏱️

At ACT Schools we recognise that not all young people learn the same way. We focus on creating safe spaces and a sense of community that allows our learners to engage with education in a way that suits their needs.

Last week we took our Caerphilly pupils on a walk to the local Cenotaph. It was an opportunity to reflect on what happened all those years ago.

We also baked some remembrance day cupcakes, featuring the iconic poppy motif, and sparked an important discussion on British history.

Our pupils have been working on an exciting project this term🎨

The task was to brighten up our outdoor spaces and make sure our school vision was incorporated into the design, we think the results are just fantastic.

Pupils also had the chance to design their own tags too!

Progression both personally and academically is very important to us at ACT Schools. Our pupils have the opportunity to take part in enrichment activities such as gardening and graffiti art sessions.

This week our pupils took part in a blind fruit tasting session as part of the Health and Diet sessions.🍇

Pupils were keen to try the fruit on offer and even encouraged the staff to get involved! The goal was to see who could guess the most fruit just by it's taste and smell.

As part of our Health and Diet sessions this year pupils will be exploring healthy living and sustainable lifestyles❤️‍🩹

This week pupils made some delicious rocky road and just look at the results! We couldn't resist passing them around so everyone could enjoy some tasty treats🧑‍🍳
