“Family planning cases among primary school girls”, I'm lost here, what does that even mean? If these girls below 16 years old are getting pregnant, why aren't the boys/men getting arrested? So many questions @actforchangegh@cmghana@PPAGGhana@UNFPAGhana
Myth: You have to be invited before you can attend a community or District Assembly meeting.
Fact: Many community engagements such as town hall meetings, public hearings, and durbars are open to everyone, including young people. Instead of waiting for an invitation, young people can take initiative by attending open forums and seeking information on how to engage.
Active participation begins when young people show interest in issues affecting their communities.

Last week, @cmghana, in collaboration with @UNICEFGhana and partners, engaged key stakeholders in Goaso, Asunafo North district, as part of ongoing consultations to shape the Yoma Ghana and strengthen its role in empowering young people and contributing to the elimination of child labour.
The engagement brought together representatives from the District Assembly, private sector actors, cooperatives, religious leaders, and young people. Together, they created space for open dialogue on youth skilling to empower young people against child labour and wider impacts of child labour in the district. Stakeholders also shared practical insights and expectations on how the platform can equip young people with relevant digital skills and improved access to opportunities.
These contributions are vital in ensuring that the Yoma Ghana platform is responsive, inclusive, and impactful, designed to empower young people, expand access to learning, and support efforts to reduce child labour.
