A group of 14 locally rooted organizations around the world, working for a world where all people have equitable access to health. Secretariat in Washington, DC
As members of the #C7 Health Working Group, we are proud to have collaborated with @NutritionIntl on a policy brief ahead of the #G7summit: Nutrition for Health Equity and Resilience – A Call to Action to G7 Members and Partners.
The global malnutrition crisis is worsening, and the window for action is narrowing. Our brief makes the case for why nutrition must be treated as a foundational development priority and sets out clear recommendations for G7 leaders on financing, universal access to essential nutrition actions, and strengthening country-led systems.
These recommendations are critical. We urge G7 leaders to reflect them in concrete commitments at the summit.

‼️Hot off the presses‼️
The latest report by @resultsuk – Equity by Design – examines the hard lessons we learned from #COVID19 and explores how we can build a more equitable global vaccine ecosystem for future pandemics 💉🌍
High-income countries, including Canada, MUST consider the report's recommendations to make the structural changes that can deliver access for everyone when the next crisis comes.
This is impressive and important work and we were honoured to be a contributor. Check it out 👇

Malaria puts enormous pressure on health systems. Prevention reduces cases, costs, and strain on services. Protecting ITNs and SMC means stronger health systems. #WorldMalariaDay#EndMalaria
Ending malaria in our lifetime is now a real possibility.
Science is delivering. Nationally-led programmes are
driving change. The possibility has never been greater.
Neither has the cost of letting it slip.
Now We Can. Now We Must.
#WorldMalariaDay2026#EndMalaria
Ending malaria requires action from everyone!
This #WorldMalariaDay, civil society and
communities are clear:
- Protect the cure and stay ahead of resistance
- Invest more through domestic financing
- Deliver on commitments, including #GC8
At the halfway point of the Immunization Agenda 2030, let’s create a world where fewer children die from preventable illnesses, adolescents are protected against diseases that threaten their future, and older generations enjoy longer, healthier lives.

Today, the GFF kicked off its 2026–2030 investment round with $806M in new funding commitments — to power our TRANSFORM 2030 strategy that aims to accelerate progress toward ending the preventable deaths of women, children & adolescents.
By 2030, a fully funded GFF will enable partner countries to expand lifesaving health care to hundreds of millions of more women and children in up to 50 countries.

@centreforyouths@theGFF@ACTION_tweets@rosemarymburu@DutchMFA Investing in @theGFF is a no-brainer: it puts women first, targets groups that need help most & unlocks IDA funds effectively.
In times of shrinking budgets, there's a political need to show that investments are working. The GFF case is crystal clear

Today, Secretary of State @randeepssarai announced that Canada would commit an initial $190 million to the Global Financing Facility (@theGFF), an achievement for global health 🎉
Thank you to our amazing volunteer advocates and partners. For months, we’ve raised our collective voice for Canada to invest in the GFF to help reverse concerning global trends such as worsening maternal health outcomes and rising child mortality rates. Today's investment is a solid and timely down payment towards this goal.
We celebrate today, but keep advocating tomorrow. We’ll continue to call on Canada to build on their down payment to get to $340 million over 5 years for the GFF. Why? because Canadians care about global health. And for good reason. Not only does it save lives, it is also a key to global stability.
That's what we call a win-win.
