Similar things happen in my other main hobbies like action figure and video games, the only collecting hobby that I have that isn't really affected is the t-shirts I get from Cavity Colors and Gutter Garbs.

Took advantage of the Arrow Video sale this summer and I'll show some of my collection soon. I'm getting pretty fed up with the scalpers in the hobby charging double or triple on limited edition blu ray and 4K titles which sold out very quickly, no single film is worth £75!

I see this happen to all the big labels I get titles from aside Criterion who don't really do limited editions like the others do and it annoys me every single time, if you don't get certain titles in a limited window you're looking at double or triple the original price.

I see that the US is having another Criterion Collection sale. We won't be getting one till November which is our one annual Criterion sale a year (sometimes we get a flash sale in February if we're lucky) as Criterion see the UK as just a little afterthought.
