Is this really the best @WolvesCouncil can do? Is loss of green space really the best for Bushbury? Is the greenbelt just a lazy option? No wonder their support from residents in Penn was weak https://t.co/2BHs2SLdcp #novision
@CraigBennett3 @GK_Benno @SouthStaffsGP@Natures_Voice @CACampaigns There’s no point @michaelgove pledging 130000 trees to battle climate change. Unless the deadrot is rooted out of local councils and the custom of brown envelopes ‘sealing the deal’ will destroy all good intentions and we will continue to see the greenbelt destroyed.
You could do the right thing or not! If at in your way DESTROY it!
Bats, trees, hedgerows, natural habitants and compliant sewerage systems who needs any of them?

Only 3% of UK wildflower meadows are left - bad news for bees. RT if you think we should give bumblebees and solitary bees a fighting chance by growing wildflowers in our gardens, communities, towns and countryside, and by avoiding pesticides and weedkillers 🐝
Use a @nationaltrust model create woodlands, marshlands picnic areas or sell the land to the National Trust or @Natures_Voice to create wetlands. There are so many socially responsible options. Not every #greenbelt needs to have a house plonked on it. @south_staffs#BeTheChange
Come on @SouthStaffsGP hold them to account. There’s got to be a bigger picture to consider. We can’t solve a housing crisis by destroying the planet #falseeconomy
Even in the face of such damning evidence @south_staffs can’t offer a better plan for housing than letting developers indiscriminately dig up the countryside!
UN report to warn 'nature is in worst shape in human history'

@SouthStaffsGP It’s an almost irrelevant question if @south_staffs allow greenbelt housing developments at their current rate we’d never be able to plant enough trees to keep up! We all need to be singing from the same hymn sheet. #brownfieldredevlopment
And to the present. Unrecognisable from the landscape of yesteryear. Betrayed by those who vowed to protect the greenbelt. Incredible how important the natural world is in the fight against climate change until it’s head to head with money @Natures_Voice @CACampaigns #birdsong
The message is consistently the same. Nature is in trouble so why in the world would @south_staffs let developers move in and destroy the greenbelt for a pre-school nursery that is not required in the local area. Interesting business case eh @BarclaysIB?
Surely nobody will come out of this situation well...the local area desecrated and reputations in tatters! @south_staffs@PINSgov@LGOmbudsman how can it possibly take 3 months for #retrospective planning permission to be assessed but developments continue undeterred?!
When #climatechange matters to so many but yet the developers on this site are hacking the natural world to bits like it doesn’t matter!
https://t.co/JH7RzajkZO
@LGOmbudsman this situation is getting more objectionable b the day. No date for retro planning but businesses are open and preparations potentially underway for developments not yet applied for? Any value left in #planningpermission
When @south_staffs declined a new build in the green belt 18/00022/FUL @PINSgov agreed the application on appeal. There were conditions attached including protecting these trees with tpo’s. Where is the enforcement? Where is the protection? What’s the point if money talks?
