The question is why does the US impose itself on the island instead of letting it exercise their rights as a nation.

Invaded, experimented on and used for wars, it’s a question of ending racism not annexation.

Murphy made that statement after announcing she endorses the latest push to make P.R. a state.

#PuertoRicans did not vote in favor of statehood.

This bill is being used to impose a status decision rather than allow Puerto Ricans to decide.

Similar to how US citizenship was imposed.
