On Saturday we’ll ride to Aberfan Community Centre. A flat route ideal for new riders. On Sunday we’ll ride on the Taff Trail to Brecon Mountain Railway Pontsticill Station.

At tonight’s men’s group we’ll start learning cycle repair skills as we work towards developing our bike recycling scheme. This evening Chris from The Bike Workshop Merthyr will help us to learn how to properly remove and refit wheels and change tyres and inner tubes.

The sun is out and we’re riding in Merthyr. Great fun and amazing landscape and all a short ride from Merthyr town centre. We do at least 4 rides each week. Everyone welcome. Bikes, e-bikes, trikes and helmets available and all free to use. #inclusive #social #cycling

Brecon Mountain Railway at Pontsticill station reopens so our Sunday ride will call in for a coffee. 10am from Rhydycar.

The extra hour of daylight also means our Tuesday evening ride to The Red Cow is back. We leave Rhydycar at 5:30pm or meet us at Cefn Coed at 6pm.

We have our Aberfan ride on Saturday morning. A gentle ride on the Taff Trail suitable for new or returning riders.

No Sunday ride this week due to the half marathon taking place using the Taff and Trevithick trails.
