For anyone that missed it ... we've launched our latest research on #mobility and #sociability - a collaborative piece of research with @BeeNetwork and residents of #Leigh in Greater Manchester
We’re launching our report entitled “Getting around Leigh: Social research with older and Disabled people” where we considered the mobility and sociability needs of residents in Leigh, a town in Greater Manchester. This is a collaborative piece of research with
@BeeNetwork
Through this research we have explored a link between mobility and sociability. We hope this informs future work in the active travel space and enables older and disabled people to access their communities using active travel. https://t.co/zFqnN7JtHU

In making social infrastructure accessible by sustainable modes, we provide older and disabled people with the opportunities to remain physically active and to spend time in their community, while reducing car dependency.
