HEY DOG LOVERS

All you Dog lovers are shouting hoarse about injustice to dogs regarding the Supreme Court’s order. But where were they when a four-year-old child was brutally killed in broad daylight on the streets ..Likewise thousands get attacked every year

Where was your compassion then? Or is compassion reserved only for those with wagging tails while dead children don’t count?

And yes, there is nothing wrong with loving dogs. I love them too. But love your dogs in your own homes, in your luxury bungalows , in your manicured lawns. Love your imported Labradors, your pedigreed Huskies, your high-breed pets bought from breeders and hire staff to look after them

But the truth is this: the dog menace does not exist in your lavish villas. It prowls in the streets and slums. It stalks the alleys where the poor live, where children play barefoot, where no gates or fences protect them. While the privileged stroke their glossy pets, the powerless are left to tend to the wounded and bury their loved ones .

You talk about dog rights. Fine. But what about the child’s rights? The right to live. The right of his parents to see him grow. Do those rights vanish because you love dogs ? Do those rights matter less than your Instagram photos of you cuddling your own pedigreed pets?

Here is the truth you don’t want to hear: compassion without balance is injustice . If you truly love dogs, then adopt them, feed them, and protect them in your secure homes. Or force the government to come up with solutions . But don’t burden the streets with your love , where it turns into the death of someone else’s child.

The poor should not pay with their blood for the sentimental indulgence of the rich.

And realise this truth that a society that values the life of a stray dog over the life of a child has already lost its humanity.

Stray dog problem is real. And it’s a problem created by humans who hate dogs not by those who love dogs.

Stray dog sterilisation efforts by individuals and NGOs have been constantly blocked by societies by calling them dog-feeders.

And now when their own blocking tactics made the problem huge, they are saying the only solution is to transport the dogs to ‘shelters’ that don’t exist in the first place.

We all know what that means.

Rabies cases are a huge failure of the system and the solution can’t be the forced starvation or trauma to the animals. Hope the animal activists and authorities sit together and find humane solutions.

नैनीताल में 76 साल के ठेकेदार उस्मान पर 12 साल की बच्ची से दुष्कर्म करने का आरोप लगा है, हिंदूवादी संगठनों ने इस मामले को लेकर जमकर हंगामा किया,आरोप है कि विशेष समुदाय का 76 वर्षीय बुजुर्ग उस्मान 3 महीने से बच्ची के साथ दुष्कर्म कर रहा था,लोगों ने आरोपी पर सख्त कार्रवाई की मांग की है।

नैनीताल शहर में 12 साल की बच्ची से 76 साल के बुजुर्ग उस्मान द्वारा लंबे समय से दुष्कर्म करने की घटना सामने आने के बाद देर रात जमकर हंगामा हुआ।आक्रोशित लोग सड़क पर उतर आए। विशेष समुदाय का आरोपी 76 वर्षीय ठेकेदार है। पता चला है कि आरोपी पिछले तीन महीने से नाबालिग बच्ची के साथ दुष्कर्म कर रहा था।

घटना सामने आने के बाद स्थानीय निवासी और हिंदूवादी संगठनों के लोग सड़क पर उतर आए। आक्रोशित लोगों ने जमकर हंगामा किया और कुछ दुकानों में तोड़फोड़ भी की। इस दौरान नैनीताल जैसे शांत शहर में अफरा-तफरी का माहौल हो गया। नैनीताल में अचानक विवाद की स्थिति को देखते हुए आसपास के थानों की पुलिस को तत्काल नैनीताल में बुलाया गया, ताकि शहर में शांति व्यवस्था कायम रहे।

एसपी सिटी नैनीताल ने बताया कि एक परिवार ने उनकी नाबालिग बच्ची के साथ 3 महीने से दुष्कर्म होने की शिकायत दर्ज कराई है। आरोपी उस्मान को हिरासत में लिया गया है। नाबालिग का मेडिकल कराया गया है। परिजनों के द्वारा दी गई लिखित शिकायत के आधार पर आरोपी के खिलाफ मुकदमा दर्ज कर लिया गया है और मामले की जांच चल रही है।

घटना के विरोध में एकत्र हुई भीड़ जब कोतवाली पहुंची,तो पुलिस के साथ धक्का-मुक्की की घटनाएं भी सामने आईं। आक्रोशित लोगों ने पुलिस पर लापरवाही का आरोप लगाया और तत्काल कार्रवाई की मांग की।स्थिति कुछ देर के लिए पूरी तरह तनावपूर्ण हो गई। पुलिस ने संयम बरतते हुए हालात को बिगड़ने से रोका।कुछ युवकों ने पुलिस बैरिकेड्स को हटाने की कोशिश की,जिसे समय रहते नियंत्रण में लिया गया। कुछ स्थानों पर हंगामा और नारेबाजी भी हुई. कोतवाली में तैनात अधिकारियों ने लोगों को समझाकर शांत कराया गया।

आरोपी 76 वर्षीय ठेकेदार नैनीताल में 50 वर्षों से अधिक के समय से अपने परिवार के साथ रहता है।आरोपी नैनीताल लोक निर्माण विभाग समेत सभी सरकारी कार्यालयों में लाइसेंसधारी ठेकेदार है। एसपी सिटी डॉ जगदीश चंद्र ने बताया कि नाबालिग के माता-पिता की शिकायत के आधार पर आरोपी उस्मान को हिरासत में लेकर सुसंगत धाराओं में मुकदमा दर्ज कर दिया है।
