The 6 W’s:
1. Who are you
2. Who are you talking to
3. What are you doing
4. When is it (time of day, season etc)
5. Why are you there
6. Where are you

Show me something that’s not on the page. Make choices. The more specific you are, the more it comes to life and feels less like an audition/self tape and more like a moment of life caught on camera. Isn’t that the goal? An audition that doesn’t look like an audition?
Start your scene off strong by using body language. Have an opinion about what’s going on b4 the scene even starts. What mood is your character in? If your character is frustrated, I want to see it before one word comes out of your mouth. Even if it’s for just 2 seconds.
