It's the final weekend of The House
There are 3 more chances to come see us - Sat 2.30pm & 7.30pm, Sun 2.30pm: https://t.co/MdSuiS5l6f
We've had such a special time over the past few months working with the words of the late Tom Murphy, our dear friend & long-time collaborator
If you’re in Galway it’s always worth going the extra few miles to visit the Aran Islands. Extreme is the word I’d use to describe most things out there and the sun on this day was no exception #Inishmore
We're about to officially welcome 6 new actors to the Druid family ❤️
Within a cast of 11, The House marks the Druid debut (the first time performing with us on stage) for Cathal Ryan, Andrew Macklin, Colm Lennon, Jessica Dunne Perkins, Donncha O’Dea and Darragh Feehely
Hello from rehearsals 👋
It's week 1 of rehearsals for The House by Tom Murphy, a tense drama of desire, belonging and possession set in 1950s Ireland.
Directed by Garry Hynes, the cast of 11 includes Druid Ensemble members Marie Mullen and Marty Rea.
If you're in Edinburgh please get yourself to this beautifully crafted play by @TheMartinMurphy. It's pure heart, rich in humour and you'll just feel better about the world for seeing it. We could all do with a bit of that right now. 👇
A beautiful summers night on the south bank to catch Mnemonic by @Complicite at @NationalTheatre over the weekend. Wonderful production which makes a mist of the fourth wall while walking you up and down mountains of time. #theatre 👌👏👏👏
This is very troubling news. It highlights the increasing reality that sustaining a creative career has to be about more than just ‘getting a job’. We need a broader more adaptive approach to being in the arts if we want the people in it and the sector to thrive.
NEW🚨| More than half of the UK’s film and TV workforce are still out of work, a year on from the SAG-AFTRA strikes.
Our survey of more than 2,300 film and TV workers found that more people than ever are considering leaving the sector altogether 🧵
@SamuelCPearson@theCDI@ICFHQ Thanks Samuel. Makes me think what else might be a good way of spending 400hrs? Reading plays? Avoid ones tax return? Re-watching all episodes of The Bear on repeat 😁
Some milestones sneak up on you. Last week I logged my 400th hr of working with creatives 1-2-1 on their career development. Very proud to be doing so under professional & ethical frameworks of both @theCDI & @ICFHQ#CreativeCareers#CareerCoaching#Creatives
Very excited to be a part of the Dublin Theatre Festival this year. The only downside will be not getting to see any of the other shows! Looks like a fantastic line up. #IrishTheatre
