It's been a while since I talked anime here, but I've been watching new shows, old shows and simulcasts regularly again for about a year now.
Anime currently occupying most of my attention:
- Chihayufuru
- Tokyo Revengers
- Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song
- Blue Exorcist: Kyoto Saga
This guy's mum knitted this sweater for him when he was in elementary school. It has "Fist of the North Star" on the front, and "You are already dead" in romaji on the back. It is a thing of beauty.
everyone's posting their favorite Berserk panels and literally nobody is posting the same ones. there are apparently 8430256794280 incredible berserk panels to choose from. how the fuck did this man do all that
When I did our panels with Carl Horn, something that always surprised audiences was that BERSERK was Dark Horse's best-selling comic. Period. Of all time. It outsold HELLBOY. It outsold UMBRELLA ACADEMY. It outsold everything. Kentaro Miura was a superstar.

I first met @liceas when he was a teenager working for Bandai! With such a long career + founding @lovesanimation AND @AllTheAnime, he has a truly unique perspective. His industry insights are fascinating... but since he'll never write a book, interviews like this are invaluable!

Anime I wish was still airing every time I remember it exists:
- SK8 The Infinity 🥲
I bet this would have been a fun one to watch with Twitter, but missing out on that experience was a fair price to pay to not run the spoiler-dodging roulette for other simulcasts every week.

Anime I've recently watched for the first time and loved:
- Psycho-Pass
- Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun
- Eden of the East
- Blood Blockade Battlefront
Structural decisions of P-P S3 and EotE frustrated me, but only because I was so invested in Akane and Saki/Akira respectively.
