@JenSaintJean @985KYGO@MarissaRMoss I was completely SHOCKED at how long I had to listen before I heard a woman's voice. So glad Shawn is amplifying those artists.
Hey, @985KYGO - I'm fairly sure there are women country artists these days (๐) but I just listened to 22 songs IN A ROW by men on your station -1.5 hrs. Thanks to @MarissaRMoss' book "Her Country" for pointing out the disparity in songs by women being played on country radio.

@_megconley Can't wait to get the newsletter! Also, MADLY in love with your bookshop! What a superb idea. So fun to see some of my favs on your shelves, too. #booknerd
Another slam dunk of a piece by Meg. This is a walk down the historical avenues of Park Hill that, unfortunately, seem to be inaccessible to a majority of people because of racism & fear.

Yesterday's #NPRConsiderThis episode about a 9-year old who considers themselves a boy-girl was just lovely. Take the 15 minutes and hear Hallel's voice and their story.
