behold! all the little plasticine dinos made at the @PaleoPines booth at gamescom that I rescued from becoming part of the Great Plasticine Ball during post-convention clean-up!
they now live in an enclosure on my windowsill to protect them from dust :]
played @NewfangledGames's Paper Trail at gamescom again this year! it's such a lovely game!
and after talking to one of the people at the booth, I wanted to see how fast I could beat the demo - turns out, in just under 7 minutes! :]

played light of atlantis today - such a fun game with a lovely artstyle! spending pretty much all day in the indie booth arena is my favourite part of gamescom every year! :]

still devastated that I lost the little 3d-printed keychain charm I got at the booth - it must've gotten ripped off the metal part that it was attached to on my last day at the con, and I didn't notice before I had already left :(
but at least I still have the stickers!
the booth I went back to the most must've been @BonusLevelEnter's Saga of Sins, though!
I don't even play 2d action platformers that often, but something about the game just completely captivated me - I had so much fun playing!
@BonusLevelEnter don't know if it was the stained glass window art style, the gameplay mechanics, or the combination of the two, but it's definitely one of my favourite games I got to play at gamescom this year!
one of my absolute highlights was getting to play @ChainedEchoes - I haven't been this excited for a game to come out in a very long time
the pixelart style is incredible, just like the soundtrack, and will be keeping a very close eye on my wishlist for the rest of the year-
absolutely beautiful booth design, too! and the people there were so nice - got to talk to @CathyCat_TV a bunch :D
cannot wait for the game to come out next year!
spent most of my time at the indie arena booth
one of the games I kept coming back to is @NewfangledGames's paper trail - the artstyle and music are so gorgeous!
playing it on pc is definitely easier when it comes to controls, but I did manage to beat the demo on steam deck :]
