MAGA is a very loud minority. Twitter is a massive echo chamber and it's drive is psychological manipulation - the algorithm pushes false narratives and propaganda to the top of the feed - inciting emotional reactions from both sides. MAGA knows it's time is almost up. That's why they have to gerrymander, that's why they have to cheat to stay relevant. Unless you live in a small rural American town, most people don't identify with the extremist views that are expressed on this platform. Most people do not want to live under a theocratic authoritarian fascist government. Most people just want to live their lives, be free, and do their own thing. The America Trump and Elon are promoting are the complete opposite of a free society.
The economy is trashed. Friendships with US allies are trashed. Companies are leaving the USA in droves. Prices for food are higher. Freedom of speech is under attack. The American people are done with the MAGA lies. The only way they'll win the midterms is cheating.
They know they're fucked.
