I remember back in 2006 when my older brother was a 5th year medical student at Korle Bu and he caused a big family quarrel during a brief holiday in Lagos where he mentioned casually that he regularly administered blood transfusions to his patients.
My dad believed that as a Jehovah Witness, my brother should decline to take part in any medical procedure involving blood transfusion on religious grounds. He didn't even want to know whether such a refusal was even possible under the terms of medical practise (it isn't) - all he knew was that 12 white men in Brooklyn who regularly spoke to "Jehovah" had decreed it so, and how dare us children from a JW family not prioritise those instructions over everything else.
And because he convinced himself that his placenta was tied to these stupid Jehovah's Witnesses, he went on to lose his whole family that he spent decades building an empire for, and he died rich, miserable and alone. His first child got married and didn't even inform him because she knew he wouldn't approve. His 2nd child (my brother) invited him to his wedding and he declined because the bride was Catholic. His 4th child (me) got married and he was also absent, and he never met any of the 2 grandchildren he had before he died confused and heartbroken.
And after thoroughly fucking up his life, the cult just wakes up one day and changes the entire fundamental doctrine that made him go to war with his own children. There is no way to quantify the damage that has been caused here, and even if there were, oyibo man is definitely never going to pay.
As in my dad's case and in the case of every other brainwashed, spiritually lost black person, African wey no gree get sense, na oyibo go kill am.
All we can do is cry over spilled milk now.
Simi spoke up against rape.
Now, the ones bullying her and her family for speaking up? Mostly men.
Not all Men I agree, but too many Men still.
The pattern is obvious. We all need to do better as Human beings.
I'm saying...the Epstein files show that Jeffrey Epstein was all over Africa doing absolutely whatever with African girls. Alassane Ouattara's niece is in the emails offering him girls in exchange for meeting with her uncle.
I haven't seen a shred of outrage about this on the TL.
All I'm seeing is some guff about some Russian guy who had sex with women and recorded it for sale without their consent. BBC Africa (which has not breathed a word about Epstein's activities in Africa) has rushed to report it.
My bullshit-o-meter is spiking.
I wanted to know: Is there a genocide against Christians in Northern Nigeria?
Beyond hashtags and politics, what is happening to the people?
I went to Plateau, the heart of the Middle Belt crisis. I sat with survivors, visited graves, and listened to voices no one hears.
I think Nigeria is officially over tonight.
Bombing your neighbour because a white guy in Paris told you too.
Carrying out airstrikes against a fellow African country because Emmanuel Macron wanted you to.
Only apartheid South Africa ever did something like this.
It's over.
Just received word that Nigerian Army formations at the Ojo Baracks in Lagos are preparing to stage an illegal invasion of Benin as soon as tonight.
For the 2nd time in 3 years, this drug pusher @officialABAT wants to start a war in West Africa!
SOS whoever still has a brain in Abuja!
And this is what you small minded, people pleasing plonky wankers do not understand.
That you like someone isn't license enough to suspend critical thinking, cosign their foolishness & sink your voice in servitude.
That you 'liked' someone shouldn't earn them permanent subscription to your likeness.
Your "likeness" should be tied to some kind of value system - of which when reneged, you revoke your likeness.
This is how you become your own person - not just a 19th century mimeograph.
This is why you people will defend fraudsters, violent abusers, corrupt public officers because 'my idolo'.
There has to be a line that the people you like, get to cross - that makes you reconsider why you liked them and if you should continue liking them.
Your idolo can be an idiot, too.
If you cannot call it out, shut up and don't defend it.
Here’s what I’m suggesting- every citizen contacts their reps & senators with coordinated emails, phone calls and WhatsApp messages with the following -
*Dear Hon/Sen, as your constituent, i am urging you to call for a PUBLIC hearing to address the strategy to defeat terrorism, rumours of an ill-equipped military and how Nigerians will be kept safe. Please act urgently*

I lived this experience 😔
WE WILL NOT FORGET.
END BAD GOVERNMENT IN NIGERIA.
How do you slay your own harmless citizens and go further to initiate a coverup.
It's happening again in the form of a Christian Genocide.
WE WILL NOT BE SILENT
Barrister Deji Adeyanju @adeyanjudeji has repeatedly said that he has evidence to show that Mr Peter Obi @PeterObi is a fraud and that Mr Peter Obi should sue him. This is a lawyer speaking!
As a supporter of Mr Peter Obi, I am interested in the evidence the Barrister has. I would not be one to give support to anyone that is fraudulent so this case will offer me and millions of others the opportunity to have access to the evidence Barrister Deji has so we know whether to continue our support for Mr Peter Obi or withdraw it.
Mr Peter Obi going to court is the civil thing to do. Where one is defamed especially from a LAWYER, then one should go to court.
If Mr Peter Obi had used machinery of the State to get Barrister Deji arrested and thrown into jail like many of the dictators we fight are doing then I would be leading a #FreeDejiAdeyanju and calling out Mr Peter Obi!
As for now, #LetsHaveTheEvidence !
If Service is the motive Turning the Tide in Four Years is Possible
I still find it baffling that my decision to do a term of four years, if given the mandate to rule this country, is generating so much agitation. By this feeling, we are doubting the fact that a sincere leader can achieve much in 48 months.
I have never been desperate in the pursuit of power, or anything else, for that matter. There are some traits associated with desperation, which in no way are in any of my political behaviours in the past and now, like engaging in overly aggressive rhetoric or actions to prove a point or gain attention; becoming overly defensive or reactive to criticism, often to the point of appearing paranoid.
Making unrealistic or unfulfillable promises to win support or approval, resorting to personal attacks or character assassination to discredit opponents or frequently changing positions or policies to suit immediate political needs.
What drives me is not personal ambition, but a deep, commitment to see Nigeria work. And if the sacrifice required of me is four years of sincere, accountable leadership, so be it.
Throughout my political journey, I have never been involved in thuggery, the snatching of ballot boxes, or any form of electoral malpractice. I challenge anyone: conduct your investigations. You will find no stains of rigging or violence associated with my name. I have always chosen the path of peace, principle, and civility.
Ask those who have contested against me—none were ever denied their rights, framed, or falsely accused. None was asked to place their advert materials or break the bank to do so. I believe in fair competition, not manufactured victories.
In four years we can confront corruption head-on, redirecting resources to priority areas. For instance, the trillions used to acquire new presidential jets and other unnecessary expenses at this time could have been channelled into education, healthcare, or infrastructure.
Within the same period, we ensure that the rule is sacrosanct and the rule of law is strictly followed.
Within the same period, we can conduct free, fair and credible elections
Leadership, to me, is not about entitlement. It is about service. If given the mandate, for just one term, I will dedicate every moment to building a Nigeria that works for all. -PO

Guys, please I beg you in God's name. Please subscribe to my channel.
I am working on animation that can help teach our kids about African ways and values and will turn build their confidence. This one is a rough cut not to keep the channel empty.
