This is Mufti Menk’s last tweet mentioning Gaza. His last tweet mentioning Palestine was on the day the so-called ceasefire took effect.
He had only 3 tweets mentioning Gaza since the genocide began. But he had 4 tweets on Spain’s World Cup final in less than 3 hours.
As part of the UAE's normalization with Israel, Mufti Menk broke fast with Rabbi Levi Duchman.
Before that, Duchman played a key role in the opening of the Israeli embassy in the UAE and is pictured here enjoying a private Zoom meeting with Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu.
@ShabanaMahmood Having minorities in high, important positions doesn’t show that you’re progressive when the minorities in question have no credibility with the people they claim to represent & cannot relate to struggles faced by the people.
Shabana Mahmood will never speak for the minorities

Israel made the mistake of publishing footage of Yahya Sinwar's last moments.
Wearing a kufiyyeh and severely injured, he threw a stick at the drone filming him – a final act of defiance against the Zionist occupation.
In his death, he became a legend.
NCS ANNOUNCEMENT: MOON FOR DHUL HIJJAH SEEN
1 DHUL HIJJAH = SATURDAY 8 JUNE
EID AL ADHA IS MONDAY 17 JUNE
Alhamdulillah the moon has been seen in multiple locations across the UK!
Though we had hoped for clear summer skies all across the UK many locations were actually cloudy. Nevertheless groups of people saw the moon around the country with shrieks of joy and laughter.
The moon was seen in Cambridge, Walsall, London, and many other locations so far. Please do post your pictures in the comments.
This means that Eid will be on Monday 17 June; and those fasting for the day of Arafah will do so on Sunday. It also means another split Eid in the UK.
One of our newer sighters, Adnan, climbed a hill in South London and saw the mountain through the clouds, sending us the picture with the poetic comment:
“Allahu Akbar, through multiplicity of hills and mounts we witness the oneness of He!”
Indeed, the moon can be a symbol of the oneness of Allah, and the unity of the ummah. New Crescent Society make dua that we continue to work with every mosque in the UK to work towards a united Islamic calendar.
We make dua that our pilgrims travel and return from Hajj with safety, that all their prayers are answered, and we continue to make dua for our brothers and sisters in Palestine who continue to suffer even whilst this sacred month commences.
