All the actors are theatre artists with no acting portfolio under their belt except the main protagonist 'Kauwa Biryani fame' Vijay Raaz. The movie budget is merely 3 crores. The movie is based on an Islamic terror doctrine where 2 Islamists beheaded an innocent tailor for his Hindu faith. The movie was made for awareness, not to compete with some Eid release blockbusters. Yet the movie managed to earn 1.8 crores in a week - That's 70% of the budget. It will surely make the profit by next week. It will have TV and OTT release as well to ensure further earnings. Low budget Indie filmmakers should be encouraged especially when they choose such sensitive topics

The point is this German Shepherd is not laughing on earnings. There are far bigger flops than Udaipur files. The Lady killer movie made with 45 crores managed to earn only 1 Lakhs. German Shepherd won't target it because the movie was made by a leftist filmmaker Ajay Bahl. Harry met Sejal's budget was 125 crore which earned only 50 crores but german shepherd won't laugh at it because the actor is Shahrukh Khan

He will laugh at a student film because it won't give him any paid promotion. He will laugh at a movie like Udaipur files or call Kashmir files Propaganda because it's very easy to target and mock Hindu sufferings
