@BetteMidler Do you see Biden and Clinton families that way also... or are you just subjective in your application when they agree/disagree with your politics?
@tjrueger@RaoulGMI I'm sure that's what they said about the internet and cell phones. The reality is that one would have to see the future to determine such things. We can speculate and look at what service crypto provides in each use case. Then apply that same criteria to whole industries...
@PeterSchiff@Scaramucci Lol, much respect for Schiff's love of gold... I was there once. I do find it ironic that gold advocates bring up use cases in the debate about store of value. In this case, the debate could be about Ethereum or Tesla, or real estate right? How well does it retain value.
@danielwalterlac@ThomasSowell ...further, a taxi cab passing you by is further proof that legislation can't fix racism. The solution is to remove any racist legislation and, as a culture, encourage love not racism (broad racism not the accusatory common label that assigns motive to the "other race").
@danielwalterlac@ThomasSowell The problem comes with the "solutions" that are suggested. No one claims America is perfect, but when someone suggests everything about America needs to change, including it's initial (albeit hypocritical at the time) declarations of freedom, what response do you expect?
@SenWarren Wow, you really are an ignorant person, where is it that you acquired your "facts" and why is it that you deliberately ignore challenging viewpoints?
@Satoshisage @michael_saylor Anyone who suggests "extremely regulated" should not be owning crypto. A community should be able to influence without using government force. We can be free if we choose to be.
@elonmusk ...and people buying more of your electric cars will also compound the problem. Do you plan on only selling your cars to green electric areas of the world? What about the mining of your car/ battery components? Cause an effect doesn't just apply to everyone else.
@TheCryptoZombie I dumped my Tesla and put into MARA. They too are focused on green energy for the future but aren't hypocrites about use of the current network of energy as a means to an end (kind of like Musk using the current fossil fuel network to start and maintain his business ๐ค)
@Meatisharamz @queeselee @TheCryptoZombie Carbon emissions are just ok when Tesla contributes via all materials mined, transported and often manufacturd using fossil fuel network... Just like politicians and news outlets: pick and choose whatever they want to sell... narratives catered to their audience...
@attainingalpha1 @TheCryptoZombie@Bitboy_Crypto 1)Your info is based on a debunked study 2)There are cheap sources of renewable energy already in use 3) this is an attack on defi not just Bitcoin- any defi network will use some amount of dirty energy 4) most anything you buy uses dirty energy - solar panels, food transport etc
There are few ideas more potent than the notion that all your problems are caused by other people and their unfairness to you. That was the royal road to unbridled power for Hitler, Lenin, and Maoโwhich is to say, millions of human beings paid with their lives for believing it.
