Our prayers are for Pope Leo XIV good health!🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Our Lady of Lourdes, pray for us🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

[Pope Leo XIV @Pontifex]

Dear friends, during some recent medical examinations, the doctors found a small, localized nodule in my lung. It was detected at a very early stage and is well-localized. The doctors believe that it is best to intervene, so, following their advice, I have decided to undergo surgery to remove it. The operation is already scheduled to take place in the coming days. I thank you for your spiritual closeness and entrust myself to your prayers.

Today we celebrate the anniversary of Bishop Burbidge's episcopal ordination. Please join us in praying for him and giving thanks for his faithful service to the Church!

[Catholic Diocese of Arlington @arlingtonchurch]

Tonight, Bishop Burbidge celebrated the annual Mass for Multicultural Communities at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, which was followed by a festival. In his homily, Bishop underscored how the Lord joins us together from many communities as one family and as brothers and sisters.

"We are here to encourage each other in faith and to ease the burdens of others. May we promise today to pray for one another and all those who are suffering in body and spirit."
