Amazing 4 years !
Lots of love and respect to everyone in this amazing community, and a huge shout out to everyone who's staking or staked with ALOOP all this time. You rock!
Following an issue identified in the Preview environment yesterday, Cardano is currently experiencing a technical issue now on Mainnet.
Currently block production has slowed, and we’re working closely with @Cardano_CF and @InputOutputHK as we coordinate a technical response.
Node operators
- If you are running Node version 10.3.1 or higher please upgrade to Cardano Node 10.5.2. Link to repository https://t.co/MuHcWKfT3r
- If you are running a Cardano node below version 10.3.1 you do not need to take any action
- Daedalus users are unaffected
Thank you!
Institutions entering crypto want fast, scalable chains with the ability to freeze accounts and block transactions. They'll build their own chains.
Cardano stands for decentralization, something they can't offer. If you understand Cardano’s mission, the future looks bright.
I highly recommend anyone in the Cardano community who cares about how treasury funds are spent to bookmark the following page.

🔥 How to claim MIDNIGHT via Cardano-Signer:
This example here uses CLI addresses and KEYS.
1) Go to https://t.co/Cvuww6e6Kg and choose CARDANO as your blockchain:
CNCLI v6.6.0 has been released. This version is compatible with cardano-node 10.5.1 and also switches the VRF code for leader calculations from pallas-crypto to @Amaru_Cardano https://t.co/uVIlwXg83p
🚨 Reminder: Stay vigilant

DYOR. Don’t trust, verify.
Guys be really careful, there is a company called nightSwap that is doing a presale for some token. They say they are working with @MidnightNtwrk but I don't know anyone who knows them and they don't know me. They are taking money before releasing the token, and the whole thing smells to me. They also have not done any live stream that I'm aware of.
Cardano Whale was a true legend in the community—most of you probably followed him on X.
He stood firmly for decentralization and was a strong advocate of on-chain governance. His deep knowledge of Cardano DeFi wasn’t just theoretical; he used the tools himself and shared insights that helped others understand and engage.
As one of the more influential DReps, he deliberately kept his DRep ID private to avoid accumulating too much power.
He championed budgetary discipline and pushed for a low Net Change Limit to protect the Treasury.
Now, we’ve lost that voice. The reasons behind his departure aren’t the point—he made a personal decision to step away, and that deserves respect. It surely wasn’t easy.
I stepped away from the Bitcoin community in much the same way years ago, so I understand how difficult that decision can be. It’s never easy to walk away from something you’ve invested in deeply.
It’s disappointing to see some dismiss his contributions or label his exit as amateurish.
I believe he should have stayed—his presence on X and in governance would have continued to benefit the ecosystem.
Luckily, in a decentralized system, no single voice defines the future. One legend leaves, and others will rise.
That’s the strength of Cardano’s governance model.
Still, we owe it to each other to foster a culture where people like Cardano Whale feel supported—not pushed out. Let’s make sure our ecosystem remains a place where critical voices are valued, not silenced.
Cardano Whale inspired me personally. I’m grateful for everything he contributed to Cardano—and I wish him the very best moving forward.
@earncoinpool@Cerkoryn And one of my personal favorites - What to do with the so-called sticky stake? Should the delegation expire after some time?
We will present a plan to the TSC and to the community when we conclude the research in the next few months.
