I have never heard of a country invading a neighbor and then calling it unfair that their soldiers died in that invasion. I don’t think any other country ever even thought to make that complaint.

On top of that, Israel now wants to retaliate for its soldiers being killed while invading their neighbor.

🚨 BREAKING | U.S.-Kuwaiti journalist Ahmed Shihab-Eldin was acquitted of all charges by a court in Kuwait on Thursday and is expected to be released imminently, according to Caoilfhionn Gallagher, international counsel to Shihab-Eldin’s sisters.

Shihab-Eldin was arrested by Kuwaiti authorities on March 3 reportedly over social media posts related to the Iran war. “We are relieved that, after 52 days in detention, Ahmed has been found innocent on all charges. Our focus now is upon ensuring the liberty and safety of our client,” Gallagher said in a statement. In its first ruling, a newly established court overseeing state security and terrorism crimes on Thursday issued verdicts for 137 defendants accused of “inciting sectarian strife on social media platforms,” according to Al-Rai newspaper.

17 defendants were sentenced to three years in prison; one was sentenced to 10 years; nine were acquitted; and 109 were not subject to any criminal penalty.

The Israelis are carrying out a Nakba in South Lebanon, openly and proudly for the world to see.

They are gloating about it as they occupy villages, demolish and blow up homes and tell Lebanese residents they cannot return, and if they try they are killable.

The world is watching and doing nothing, except for to condemn Hezbollah.

The Lebanese government is shutting its eyes, attacking Hezbollah and preparing for direct negotiations with Israel, a treacherous insult to their people.

Israeli drones continue to terrorize the rest of the country.

This is all happening during a so called “ceasefire.”

This is not sustainable and will explode into another war. You cannot expect the people of South Lebanon to allow this without a fight.

Our only hope is Iran continuing to demand a better arrangement for Lebanon as part of a broader regional settlement.

Israel just leaked what it calls a “declaration” reached with Lebanon.

In reality, it is a surrender document.

Lebanon is ordered to disarm Hezbollah, eliminate all non-state armed groups, & ensure only the Lebanese army can bear arms.

In exchange? A 10-day “goodwill pause” that Israel can cancel at any moment.

No Israeli withdrawal from southern Lebanon.
No end to buffer zones.
No commitment to stop the destruction.

This is not a ceasefire.
This is Israel demanding that Lebanon do what the IDF failed to achieve on the battlefield, ‘crush’ Hezbollah’s military power, while Israel keeps the right to strike whenever it chooses.

The Lebanese government has still not issued a single word confirming or denying this text.

Silence here is dangerous.

This is not peace talks.
This is asking Lebanon to tear itself apart so Israel can get what it wants through ‘diplomacy.’

Beyond shameful.
