Going Sober: Can we ditch the booze?

While many people battle through just a month of ‘Dry January’ after possibly overdoing it at Christmas - almost a fifth of Brits are now turning to sobriety full time, with the biggest growth being in under 25-year-olds. The low and no alcohol market is booming but at the other end of the scale, the UK is still facing record high alcohol related deaths after a spike in harmful drinking during the pandemic.
Journalist and recovering alcoholic, @winson_toby, investigates why a growing number of people are putting down the pints, how they are doing it and asks if we can change our relationship with alcohol for good.
