I recently re-watched the American Pie trilogy and they not only hold up they are maybe funnier now because you can reflect on that age and all that jazz but besides that the movies are just fucking funny and we rarely see comedies like this at all anymore
Sorry but scoring six goals in a game with zero jeopardy against a French team who only tried in the second half doesn't make up for that last half hour in midweek. Makes it worse actually and raises so many questions. The main one being why Saka didn't get a minute v Argentina?
12% - Average possession between Anthony Gordon's opener and Lautaro Martínez's winner (55th to 92nd minute):
12% - 🏴 England
88% - 🇦🇷 Argentina
Trapped.
I think that is close to sackable from Tuchel. A coach appointed at great expense for his tactical acumen and "ability to get over the line" needlessly forces England miles from it.
All that money... for that?
Let's be clear: that was tactical cowardice. It takes guts to defend deep but more to back yourself to keep going. That Konsa-Gordon sub will live in my head until the Euros. Don't tell us that it will be different if you're going to make exactly the same mistakes.
