I think it depends on your motivation. If you’re not a believer and just in it for the money, it seems pretty exploitative. You have no real interest in strengthening user’s faith.

If you are a believer, you should be more interested in strengthening user’s faith than making money. There’s also more at stake for your soul as a believer, so you have to be careful. I don’t think it’s totally off-limits, but needs to be done with great care.

I’m glad to see this being discussed and taken seriously.
