@BuffaloBills AT staff were presented the Pat Tillman Award for Service for saving Damar Hamlin’s life on arguably the biggest stage.

@PatrickMahomes was named male athlete of the year. He gave huge credit to his AT staff this year for keeping him healthy while battling ankle issues.

Last week…
@BeltonRegional in the city closest (KC Metro area) to we’re Mahomes new house is built decides to eliminate AT positions doing outreach to local schools due to funding. Bad look with construction still going on.

There were 27 trained medical professionals who helped Damar Hamlin on the field with the ATs being the first line leading the charge of life saving care. The standard of care for middle and high schools is an AT. One single AT. Then when that AT gets cut (2 weeks before football camp 🤯), it just makes you ponder whether hospital administrators value human life or the almighty dollar more.
