It’s #FindsFriday and we’re sharing this wonderfully preserved clay smoking pipe from the late C19th to early C20th. “Burns Cutty” was a pattern name produced by various makers. This spurless variety of pipe was produced 1850 onwards.

The old Silver Springs Mineral Water Company site where I used to work many years ago. Now nothing left on the 9.39 acre site where this Ginger Beer bottle originally came from that ended up in a Victorian bottle tip almost 20 miles away hidden in a wood. Glad I saved it 👍
