Great conversation tonight in Johannesburg with South African President @CyrilRamaphosa. Talked about governing health innovation for the common good (starting with next variations of mRNA vaccine in South African hub) and much needed Just Energy Transition.
Cameroon v. Gambia
Cameroon population: 27m people
Gambia population : 2.5m people
Match population: 11 v 11
Boys... "Goum len Sen boupa rek" ... no need to worry about the excess population.

@saitmatty#Gambia, like most "capitalist societies", is a liberal market economy, underpinned by key "social contracts" for its people, (e.g., free primary education & health care, etc.).
I think, what is important, is to be pragmatic, and peoples-centric in public policy design.
Irresponsible hate speech by Ex President Jammeh
It is utterly irresponsible for a former head of state to spew hate speech against a particular compatriot, and tribal group.
#Gambia, during this time of healing after 22 years of mal administration and human right abuses,
... does not need such retrogressive utterances! It must be condemned by all politicians of all shades and colours, who should emulate the Great Senator Maccain of Arizona, who came to the defence of President Obama, during the US presidential campaign in 2008, to set the record
@adamamdeen one of the last standing fathers of #African#Unity, President Kenneth Kunda of Zambia, passed away. A great friend of #Gambia. First president to visit newly independent Gambia in 1965 from EAC /COMESA countries. Rest in peace, African hero.
@RailaOdinga Your Excellency, AU High Representative (HR) for Infrastructure Development in Africa. Sir, I wish you well, in all your endeavours and daily chores. We pray Allah, the almighty, continue to shepherd, and protect you & family#NEPAD#AU
Your son, and friend. Adama
Congratulations to my brother, friend, and former NEPAD Agency colleague, H.E.Bankole ADEOYE, who's been elected as new African Union Commissioner for Peace and Security. An extremely competent, deligent, hard working, master of AU policies, processes, institutional structures
The draft #Constitution 2020, is not perfect, like any Constitution. However, it is by far superior to the current 1997 Constitution. The only compelling "No" vote in my opinion, is, if it didn't cater for presidential 2 term limit. Pl NAMs vote "Yes"! @GambiaAssembly
especially during the peak hours. Westfield - Abuko is a case in point. The left turning lanes were regrettably removed in the original design of the project. And we now suffer the consequence. Please provide a decent median, for the viaducts of the future mass transit system.
(or Traffic Light or Stink Corner), does not have "turning lanes", especially "left" turning lanes, we need to urgently provision such.
Lack of such, creates congestion and spill-backs of the "through lanes", and renders the dual carriageway, to have poor level of service,
Thank you Rohey Malick Lowe, Mayor of #Banjul, your appeal to the Minister of Health, is an act of sincere, and mature political leadership. You rose to the occasion and stood taller than any political leader at this hour of our greatest need as #Gambians.
