@louispilfold Ah, I'm starting to be all lingo-y. Next Business Day. It looks like that costs more for servers than I thought.

I think I'm also railing a bit against always renting stuff. Now I'm not renting where I live any more it is a bit of a revelation.

There are a lot of good reasons to use the cloud, don't get me wrong. But I'd just never run the math in this way until I began forming an ISP. I'm finding it pretty compelling.

@louispilfold I many people wanted to use not-Perl, and so jumped to Java or PHP when they came along. These moved away from using cgi-bins, and so the idea faded. I didn’t mind cgi-bins at all, but my teenage self found Perl to be a faff.
