I did a day on basic genetics in my bioethics class. Good thing I talked about Rosalind Franklin. A student told me that their bio professor didn't even mention her when talking about figuring out the structure of DNA. Told some story about Watson & Crick scribbling in a bar..😤
@EliseWoodard20 I highly recommend the new book Black Health (https://t.co/S67jkF9Mjz) by @DrKeishaRay. It's written for students and is great for introducing and discussing social determinants of health, racial health disparities, and more!
I'm so excited to be discussing theories of healthcare justice in my bioethics class tomorrow! What are some of your favorite books and/or articles on healthcare justice?
