With regard to "Judeo Christian":
The 10 Commandments are Jewish.
The great stories of the Old Testament are Jewish.
The Jews developed the idea of subsidiarity as the alternative to tyranny and slavery.
The Jews established the cultural preconditions for the rise of universal literacy.
The fate of Israel at the hands of the Islamists is the fate of the West.
This rising tide of anti-semitism sickens me. Those of you engaging in it for your oh-so-moral reasons—you're despicable.
And remember, you proud "Christians" objecting in all your purity to the term:
Christ Himself was a Jew.
Apart from the question of whether @RoKhanna is lying (he is), his performative visit to Judea and Samaria broke the rules and undermined our Constitution.
I was US Ambassador to Israel for 4 years. During that time, the US Embassy facilitated the visits of hundreds of members of Congress. IN EVERY SINGLE CASE, the visit, including the itinerary, was coordinated with the Embassy, and usually with the State Department in DC as well.
This is not just a security driven protocol, although that is an important factor. It also is a reflection of the Constitutional mandate that the foreign policy of the United States is directed by the President through the Department of State.
When a US representative visits a foreign country, the Constitution says that the Executive Branch has the paramount interest in how that visit is achieved. That doesn’t mean that the representative can’t do his own fact finding or draw his own conclusions. But when the representative goes off undermining US foreign policy on foreign soil, that’s foul play.
@RoKhanna went rogue. He couldn’t have cared less about how his theatrics reflected upon our nation. He wanted his sound bites and his video clip, no matter how misleading, and he wasn’t going to let our Constitution get in the way.
@LozzaFox@Pdcfoli027Paul Enough with the childish "made-up word"; every word is a made-up word. Instead, emphasize its inaccuracy: a phobia is an *irrational* fear, whereas fear and loathing of Islam is rational, appropriate, and needs to get off its arse
The Delta Force of Islamization: middle-aged white progressive woke women, bravely dismantling Western civilisation between a diversity seminar and brunch.
How does butchering a disabled girl and her Dad “Free Palestine”?
May we never forget 🕯️
Rut Perez who suffered from Muscular Dystrophy was brutally murdered by Palestinians on October 7th along with her father Eric Perez.
A father taking his disabled daughter to a music festival that was focused on peace.
This is what the “Pro-Palestine” movement celebrates.
There is no way I will ever let those who called October 7th a “resistance movement” forget what they are cheering on. Pure evil.
May their memory forever be a blessing 🕯️🕯️
Lindsey Graham: "I am unapologetically supportive of Israel. If you don't get that supporting Israel is beneficial to the United States, you should probably flunk out of college"
One of the greatest friends of the Jewish people.
May he rest in peace.
To understand the Lindsey Graham consensus: Barak Ravid was practically in tears over him on Channel 12, while Yinon Magal recited Kaddish for him on Channel 14, even though he wasn’t Jewish.
We will remember him.
Every time you see the genocide blood libel: challenge it.
It only needs to be a flippant reply with the contempt the accusation deserves, but challenge it every time you see it.
Do not let antisemitic blood libels pass unchallenged.
@btselem Why slip into English and not use the literal Hebrew translation, רצח עם? I'd say 2 reasons. The first is that it would bring to light the absurdity of the claim. The second is being a dedicated follower of fashion. Nasty.
I don’t speak for the U.S. military, all veterans, or every American. I speak only for myself.
Yes, I believe the case for military action against Iran, preventing a nuclear-armed regime, protecting freedom of navigation, and defending the global economy that affects every American, could have been communicated more effectively.
But once America commits its military to war, the mission must be to win.
Losing carries consequences far beyond the battlefield. It weakens deterrence, emboldens adversaries, increases the likelihood of future wars, and sacrifices without securing the objectives for which they were risked.
The United States set clear military objectives on February 28. We have the military capable of achieving them. We should give our men and women in uniform every resource, every advantage, and every ounce of national resolve needed to accomplish the mission.
Americans want to win. Victory matters.
People always pressure Israel because it’s easy and safe to do
They don’t pressure the muslim world because they know they’re mental
That’s the pure truth - as unrefined as the language may be
You know the muslim world is mental with jihad and fatwas and lunatics and suicide bombers and terrorists and stabbing Salman Rushdie
You don’t try to persuade the people who actually need to learn peace because you know they’re mental
And so you engage in a bizarre, pointless, hollow performance of lecturing Israel - doing nothing to actually advance a better world - avoiding any actual reckoning with the intransigent mindset of mental muslims
He co-owned Macy’s and could have kept every dollar. Instead, Nathan Straus gave two-thirds of his fortune to a country that didn't even exist yet.
An American New Yorker, Straus visited Jerusalem in 1904, canceled the rest of his Mediterranean tour, and dedicated his life to the Land of Israel.
He poured his wealth into:
Soup kitchens feeding hundreds daily in the Old City.
Health stations to fight malaria and trachoma.
A major Jerusalem health center with a cornerstone carved in English, Hebrew, and Arabic—built "for the benefit of all inhabitants."
In 1912, he was in Palestine with his brother Isidor. Nathan wanted to stay longer, but an impatient Isidor sailed home early on a ship called the Titanic. Isidor never made it back.
Devastated, Nathan spent the rest of his days giving, famously saying: “Give at death, it is lead. Give in sickness, it is silver. Give in health, it is gold.”
Today, a thriving coastal city of 250,000 people stands in Israel, built on the land he bet on decades before it was a state.
It’s called Netanya. Named for Natan.
Francesca Albanese: “I don't know'a who'a is'a Hillel Neuer, I never heard'a his name.”
Piers Morgan: “Uh, Mr. Neuer from UN Watch.”
Francesca Albanese: “Ohhhh, Mr. Neuer — you mean the guy in the olive oil business?”
No way this is real.
