We’re heading to Drone Dominance Gauntlet II.
Also proud to be the first (and only) drone manufacturer to have 100% of their Gauntlet I order shipped and accepted by the Department of War.
Grateful to @SecWar and the senior leadership at @DeptofWar for hosting a new entrants round table discussion last week.
The main message: production is the #1 priority. I reported on @neros_tech progress in delivering over 1,000 drones per week today and plans to scale to 1 million per year.
Adaptive Payload Exchange (APEX)
🇺🇸 Neros (@neros_tech) has come up with an open source solution (APEX) that allows for simple drone-to-payload integration.
"Today, drone-to-payload integration requires coordination and custom design work between manufacturers. A new payload means new tooling, new integration work, and weeks of engineering for each platform-payload pair. Complexity only increases – and on the front line, warfighters are handicapped in what payloads they can choose from, and how fast they can swap between them."
"Neros Archer platforms delivered this year under Phase II of the Drone Dominance Program will be APEX-enabled and payload partners Kraken Kinetics, Kela Technologies, Northrop Grumman, CX2, and ModalAI have already committed to adoption."
We are looking for an n of 1 product leader to shape the future of American and allied unmanned systems.
Shoot me a DM if you're interested or if you know of someone who might be a fit.
Neros equips #Marines to win our Nation’s battles. Proud of our partnership with @USMC and honored to give Marines the fighting edge in any clime and place.
Neros is delivering. We are proud to announce the first delivery under the U.S. Army’s Purpose Built Attritable Systems (PBAS) program ahead of schedule. This milestone demonstrates repeatable, program-level production at scale for our warfighters.
Alongside this delivery, we are officially launching our Archer Block 2 system. Block 2 is an evolved combat system designed for modularity and field-reconfigurability in contested environments. With multiple size configurations, a multi-sensor payload suite, and paired with our next-generation soldier-borne Ground Control Station, Flatbow, Archer Block 2 is a comprehensive platform that adapts as quickly as mission demands change.

Neros is proud to announce our 2nd place finish in the Department of War's Drone Dominance Program Gauntlet I, having competed with American and international manufacturers across multiple dimensions of battle-readiness from long range to urban strike scenarios. Neros' system was the top performing American platform, following closely behind a Ukrainian fiber system.
It’s no surprise that those who ranked highest at Gauntlet 1 are manufacturers that have deployed their drones in true combat settings. At Neros, we understand that paper requirements and simulation can’t compete with actual user feedback, and leverage our direct lines of communication with Joint Forces and allied warfighters to rapidly iterate, maximizing the real-world usability of our platform.
This advantage was made clear in the Urban Strike mission where nine companies achieved perfect scores, and military operator feedback was used to determine the final rankings. In this exercise – given the choice – America’s warfighters chose Neros as their #1 drone system based on ease of use and utility.
Critically, Neros’ team never had to intervene with military personnel to provide supplemental coaching or troubleshooting during missions, a testament to the intuitive operation and flat learning curve of our Archer platform. In the hands of these military operators, our drones were among the few systems piloted to every target distance and able to make a direct strike at the max 10 km range.
To the team at Neros: this achievement belongs to your tireless work on the factory floor, at test ranges and across our engineering labs, both at home and abroad.
To the Department of War and the operators at Fort Benning: thank you for championing a procurement model that rewards speed, scalability, and real-world performance. We’re already integrating what we’ve learned in preparation for Gauntlet II, and we will continue onshoring the drone industrial base to deliver the asymmetric advantage the West needs.
