DOAC & trauma. Lab testing not v helpful. 24-48hrs post dose coagulation likely to be back to normal if N renal excretion. When was last dose? What is renal function? #traumacare19
Warfarin & trauma. Don’t use FFP. PCC(Octaplex or Beriplex) short acting so don’t forget to give Vitamin K as well! Check INR after PCC to ensure complete reversal. #traumacare19
