@Gyan49485 this whole narrative of Carlsen, Nepo and some others (Dubov comes to mind) of "I don´t want to try, I did not try so I did not fail, If I tried I would of course have won easily. It upsetting at best and drags one down at worst. Don´t take away our love for classical chess!
@Eljanov If he doesn´t calculate well, he loses as everybody else. If there is no time to calculate (because of the time control) he makes mistakes, as everybody else. I think we should appreciate the level of play and precision in technical ("magnus-"positions) of all players.
@abhii_g7@TarjeiJS unbelievable: before he lost all his points he was so many points ahead + + + unbelievable: he keeps his elo without playing + + + unbelievable he is still younger than kasparov...
@Gyan49485 Nepo finally having good chances for the (shared?) world title again, now that the goat retired. Good luck! (Hikaru being the goat in this case). Probably he is traumatized for being told to tuck his shirt, classic villian origin story.
@DeveshsK_ if you play c6 with your B on g7 you will learn that d6 and all the dark squares around are weak. Its more about typical ideas. I recently played a game in a similar structure where Bb5+ was a good move, just to provoke c6.
@chessable oh are we not bamboozling our opponent this time? not venomous? No french Toast? Doesn‘t it hold for a lifetime? Is it not easy? Is it not ambitious? reliable? Does the echange french roar? Is it going for the throat? Are we boring our opponents to death or is it NOT boring?
@DeveshsK_ assuming black takes the h4 rook instead of Rb4xb2 in one of the lines that lead to the draw at the end is typical quick and dirty 3+0 calculation. Not 2800 in the candidates with lots of time on his clock.
@DeveshsK_ some soundbites from talking chess players in high resolution in front of a blurred old interior museum scenery. More cuts and some self help mambo jambo. Superlatives. Somebody saying that it is "unprecedented". Chess players walking, shaking hands. Inception noise. repeat.
