@cerysmatthews this Jimi Hendrix version of Like A Rolling Stone is stellar. Just got back from walking the dog, Ralf and trying to decide what to have for breakfast. Had to stop for a minute and enjoy the sonic treat. Thanks for the play as I have never heard this take before!
@DefDylan Listened to a very interesting episode a few years back discussing Dylan's song structures and whether they contained choruses. Most didn't but the repetition of a single line at the end of a verse. I can't remember what you termed you used to describe this. Do you?
@totalcurtis It's always worse coming back from the states than going. Flights are often overnight, a few hours kip on the plane, then a whole other day to make it through.
Another solid Leicester show in the books, this time a tribute act Hejira: Celebrating Joni Mitchell
I tend to go for original music shows, but recently I have gotten deeply into this 'jazz period' of Joni Mitchell's career.
Review for @ARTSIN Music In Leicester coming soon

Saw a band on Saturday, all kinds of funky, groovy goodness, in Hinckley, no less. OKAPI is their name and I will be reviewing the show for Music In Leicester @ARTSIN
@LizStringerAU Hi Liz, I'm really enjoying your music. I am hoping to see the Leicester show. Can you tell me whether you will be playing with a live band? Cheers!
I went to a really unique show at the Gallery @dmuleicester - the music was great, the visuals were even better. Check out my review for Music In Leicester @ARTSIN@lukebroughton5

On Friday night I went to a very unique and immersive experience at the Gallery at
@dmuleicester with performances by @lukebroughton5 & Laura Dickinson. Review coming soon for Music in Leicester @ARTSIN
@jowhiley@BBCRadio2 Great track by the Head and the Heart, called Rivers and Roads. Got a big-time rootsy Americana feel, highly recommend. Saw them open for @dcfc a good few years back.
@BBCRadMac listening to the show this morning with the Frankenstein theme. How about a song from the new @TheNational album, first two pages of Frankenstein? Eucalyptus or Tropic Morning News are both excellent! Thanks for all the good tunes you play.
So, I've dusted off the drum sticks, playing with friends, new and old @amydanielsmusic. Although we have only just started this thing I'm really liking where it's going.
Loving the chatter on Leicester & @LeicsComedyFest on @SaturdayKitchen this morning. Big shout out to the wonderful food and drink businesses in the city and county too!
Pretty solid book haul for Christmas / Birthday this year - that should keep me busy for awhile! @CAMRA_Official@DavidSedaris
Oh and only one record this year Craig Finn @steadycraig 'We All Want the Same Things.'
Happy Christmas break to ya'll.
I went to the Ween website in hopes there might be a UK show on the horizon. There's not, and I have apparently already requested that they come and play here. Come on guys! @weeninfo@GeneWeen
I thought @taylorswift13 's lavender haze was a response to Jimi Hendrix's woozy, druggy Purple Haze. Turns out it's a Mad Men reference, apparently a saying in the 1950's to describe the feeling of being in love. Which kind of makes sense, cuz isn't love Taylor's drug?
@UtilitaArenaBHM hello. Was hoping to see showtimes for arcade fire show tomorrow so that we can make dinner arrangements and meet friends. Will these be posted in advance? Thank you
