I don’t think the church should be asking or expecting people to serve beyond retirement. Let them enjoy their kids/grandkids!

In the UK you'd never elect a 70+ year old as the culture is once you hit 67/68 yrs old you have to retire, but in the US working well into your 70's is normal

@dasscherick @DeanCullinane @anthony_bosman I am not sure the best answer to the evident issue, though my point is term limits do not solve all problems. Some Conf in the US already have them and they have not been fool proof at all, such as when there has been no adequate replacement but you have to change as per policy

Limits is in the last term the president can, to a certain degree, do whatever they like or attempt to, knowing they don’t have to try to get back in. Like a certain bigger president is currently doing

Trophies? That’s arguably not a motivator either now.
He’s leaving for himself and his Balon D’or ambitions and did the whole process in his own favour

Cunha signed an extension in Feb so Wolves got a fee.
Kane the same.
That list goes on and on
Trent didn’t and bent over backwards to assist RM transfer budget. RM paying for Huijsen £50m makes it even worse as they have money!

Free transfers are for over 30 yr old players. Not players in their prime and not local world class players. For them they do not happen - except Trent and Sol
