If you start the movie "Hoosiers" at 10:07 p.m. and 48 seconds on New Year's Eve, you'll ring in 2026 just as Jimmy Chitwood hits the winning shot.
No need to thank me.
@DickieV Zero jealously. Respect, sure. Some arrogance on the ND, maybe. Life is about choices, and ND has made their choice to be independent. The committee 100% made the correct decision when ND lost the toughest 2 games on their schedule.
ND Football goes 10-2 w/light schedule losing their 2 toughest games, takes their ball and goes home, passing on a top non playoff warm destination bowl. Recruits take notice. The schedule is even softer next year. Super lame/weak move. Glad a team will go that appreciates it.
@NDFootball is taking their ball and going home after missing the playoff, passing on a top tier non playoff bowl in a warm destination. Funny & lame. Best for the student athletes? (No) Best for the program? (No) I’m glad to see the bowl go to someone who appreciates it.
@jrester51@evstockton@MHSAA I respectfully disagree. With school of choice you have to either physically move or you sit out an entire season before you are eligible, unless the move happens prior to HS starting. Congrats to OLSM, talented group, I just believe these matchups are rather silly.
@evstockton This OLSM team is special but also a stacked, recruited, & loaded private school. What a silly game. Same w/the previous week’s 45-7 win over public school power Portage Central. Private Schools that recruit should not be facing public schools. @MHSAA Fix this.
I want to see Public School Dexter (lost to OLSM 51-14) vs. Public School Portage Central (Lost to OLSM 42-7). Much respect to the talent of OLSM, but those were silly matchups. Let’s add some competitive integrity back to the process, create a Private School Champ & Public.
@PhilMickelson@KylePorterNS Hey @PhilMickelson , why has @PaulAzinger not stepped foot inside the ropes of the captaincy again since he ‘cracked the code’ in 2008, yet the Euros ran it back with Luke when he had a winning formula…even as a Vice Captain Zinger?
Victor Hoviland is clearly hurt. No hate here, but what a silly #RyderCup rule to automatically give the Euros a 1/2 point split for that match. The whole point should go to the US or have an active player serve as a Vice Captain alternative available to fill in 4 an injury.
Hey @NBCSports this is the most pro Euro telecast ever. Paul McGinley, Faldo…..I get it that that their strong play is dictating the chatter, but get me @PaulAzinger or some US Ryder Cup legend other than Notah to speak for the US
