If you guys want a port/remaster of Final Fantasy XV on Switch 2 (and possibly other systems), retweet and like this message to show Square Enix y'all really want it.
Image from question raised at shareholder meeting:
Remember when Game-Key Cards were “the death of physical media”? Now people are ready to pay $80 for GTA VI, $100 for the Ultimate Edition, and accept a box with nothing but a download code.
Funny how outrage disappears when it’s Rockstar.
Consistency matters.
90% of gamers buy their games digitally??
Convenience is great until a game gets delisted, servers shut down, or you lose access to something you paid for.
Then everyone starts talking about game preservation and ownership.
As someone who buys most of my games physically, watching the industry move further and further toward digital is really heartbreaking.
Why can't game companies just make Data discs that holds the data like what Final Fantasy Remake/Rebirth did.
Rockstar has just doomed all physical media and ownership with this move and I can't support it.
Far too many people are brainwashed by convenience and not looking at the blue print...
You will own nothing and be happy oh and just so you know we can turn off the game servers anytime.
Idk why people are acting so damn dense. GTA is setting a nasty precedent. It’s the COMBINATION of not only the price increase of $80, but also the fact that the true full game is $100.
