I know we're all very upset about them going out without even a whimper, but I'll be damned if the six games from Senegal to Bosnia wasn't most fun I've had watching this team in forever.
Now, please, go out and capitalize on this momentum
My debut World Cup… it hurts to wait 4 years to compete at the highest level our sport has to offer. I want to say sorry to our fans it was not good enough when it mattered most and we let you down
Soccer in America will only become bigger the belief, the talent, and the passion is continually growing and I know the best days are in front of us, the future belongs to those who never stop believing, this moment will fuel us. We will be back

@Dylan4716238836@nickbateman33 Every position is just incorrect, probably going on name alone and not actually watching. Belgium ARE worse since then and we are better. It’s going to be a good game, to think it’s going to be lopsided in Belgium’s favor actually IS delusional
The most surreal thing of our trip so far. Currently driving towards Louisiana and the radio station we were listening to started talking about our trip and played Ella Langley especially for us😭😭😭
Chelsea not qualifying for Europe might actually be a blessing in disguise. Xabi Alonso in his first season would finally have something most top managers never get at elite clubs anymore: time.
No Thursday nights in Kazakhstan, no exhausting midweek travel, no constant rotation every 3 days. Just full training weeks to drill automatisms, pressing structures, build-up patterns, spacing between the lines, all the little tactical details Alonso is obsessed with.
People forget how much managers like Conte, Klopp and even Arteta benefited from uninterrupted coaching time early in their projects. Tactical football needs repetition. Alonso’s system especially is very detail-oriented: positional rotations, coordinated pressing triggers, midfield occupation, rest defense. Those things don’t become elite overnight.
And honestly, Chelsea’s squad is still very young. Young teams improve more on the training ground than through endless fixtures. Less games could mean better physical condition, fewer injuries, more tactical clarity and faster development for players like Palmer, Caicedo, Enzo, Gusto and Jackson.
It sounds crazy now, but a season outside Europe could genuinely be the reset year that turns Chelsea back into a monster domestically. Sometimes taking one step back structurally is what allows a club to take two forward.
