(1/4) Consumer Warning ‼️
@StubHub canceled my 8 @bigten 🏈 Championship tickets 48 hours before kickoff.
I purchased these in October for about $125 each. IU made it, we planned the entire weekend, and then, out of nowhere, StubHub voided the order. No replacement. No help.
@RachelWisinski@StubHub@bigten Ugh. You are the second person that I’ve heard this from. So sorry this had to happen to you and your family as well. So unacceptable.
@IndyStarSports@indystar@espn@TheAthletic@ConsumerReports (5/4) World. Please know that if you buy tickets on @StubHub you are not guaranteed them. Buy at your own risk. I hope no one has to experience what my friends and family have. This should have been the experience of our lifetime. Easy to make this right. They chose greed.
(1/2) I am furious at @stubhub I might cry. Back in October, after @IndianaFootball beat Oregon, my wife and I (both alum) purchased 8 tickets for the @B1Gfootball title game. After months of planning w/ fam&friends, flights booked, they cancelled today. No replacements #iufb
@StubHub@BarstoolBigCat@TeamStubHub@PatMcAfeeShow@bigten@TeamStubHub@Stubhub Looking through some twitter history. Explain to me how you *did* give replacements for Ariana Grande tickets but not for the Big Ten Title game? Because the tickets cost more now than when we purchased in October? You are being corporate greedy here team.
@AdamTerwilliger@StubHub@IndianaFootball@B1Gfootball This is unacceptable, and I didn't jump to get tickets weeks ago when they would have been in the range of affordability. Now I know we're not going and it's really dumb you have to buy tickets months early before even knowing your team makes it...and you run this kind of risk??
This JUST happened to a good friend of mine.
Unbelievable. Planning for months, flights booked, family lined up, and @StubHub pulls the rug at the last minute with zero replacements. This is brutal for lifelong @B1Gfootball fans who do everything right.
Do better, @StubHub.
