I left the UK to ILORIN to surprise my family after being away for about 2yrs. Nobody knew I was coming except for @RealSamboFatiu as I felt it’s normal to let at least one person know about my journey.
Each frame of this post means so much to me and my family and in a long time this is the happiest I’ve been. Alhamdulillah.
Frame 1 : My mom
Frame 2: My elder bro
Frame 3 : My grandma
Frame 4 : My sister who had dreamt 2 days earlier that I arrived and told her husband about it, she kept saying “I said it” 😂
Why shouldn’t we trust Allah when He has shown us the right path? We will patiently endure whatever harm you cause us. And everyone who puts their trust in Allah should rely on Him alone.
My previous opinion regarding a Muslim's participation in the construction of a church was my own independent conclusion, reached after careful study and reflection. While I remained convinced by the reasoning that informed that view, I also recognize that it stands in contrast to the position held by the overwhelming majority of sincere, steadfast, and learned scholars of Islam, both classical and contemporary.
I do not claim to possess greater knowledge, understanding, or piety than those distinguished scholars whose lives were devoted to the service of Islam and the preservation of its teachings. Intellectual humility requires that one be willing to reconsider one's views when faced with the weight of scholarly consensus and the accumulated wisdom of the Ummah.
Accordingly, I openly state that I now subscribe to the opinion of the majority of the scholars on this matter: a Muslim should not participate in the construction of any place of worship other than a masjid, nor should one directly assist in establishing places dedicated to religious worship contrary to Islamic belief.
At the same time, this position must never be misconstrued as a justification for hostility or injustice towards others. Islam commands Muslims to uphold justice, honour covenants, respect the rights of all people, and never obstruct others in the practice of their religion. Our disagreement with the beliefs of others does not permit transgression against them. Rather, we are commanded to invite with wisdom and beautiful preaching, while leaving guidance to Allah alone.
I ask for Allāh's forgiveness where I might have erred and seek His blessings for all our sincere scholars and beseech Him for His guidance in all affairs. Āmīn.
Don’t they look at the camels and see how Allah created them?
And look at the sky—how it was lifted high above them.
And look at the mountains—how they were set in place.
Asalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh sir.
We humbly seek your prayers and support for our beloved brother, Samsideen Yeku, who has been diagnosed with a serious heart condition.
What began as persistent leg swelling led to specialist consultations and a series of investigations, including an echocardiogram, blood tests, and a CT-gated aortogram. The results revealed a life-threatening enlargement of his aorta and severe aortic valve disease. A team of cardiac surgeons has now recommended a Modified Bentall procedure, a major open-heart surgery, as the only definitive treatment.
The hospital has issued the treatment invoice, and we are appealing to everyone who is able to support this life-saving procedure. Every contribution, no matter the amount, will make a meaningful difference.
We kindly ask for your prayers and generosity. May Allah reward you abundantly and grant him complete healing. Ameen.
