Unwritten rules everyone should follow at the gym
1. Put your weights back according to how much they weigh.
2. Don't drop weights. If you need to drop weights you can't handle the weight in the first place. The only exception to this is deadlifts.
3. Wipe down your bench when you're done with it you filthy animal.
4. Wear deodorant or at least smell like you've showered in the past day. No one likes the BO aftertaste when you walk past them.
5. Don't block someone's view of themselves in the mirror. When they are working out go around them or wait until they're done.
6. When lifting near the mirror step away from the dumbbell rack to give people space to grab dumbbells.
7. Cheer on the new people who are getting started in the gym.
8. Don't video people just so you can put them on social media and make fun of them later. That's a dick move.
9. Warm up and stretch in the designated area. No one wants to be dodging you on their way to the squat rack.
10. When someone is using a piece of equipment that you want make sure they finished their set before talking to them.
11. Do not be the person who hoards multiple pieces of equipment so you can do your circuit. Hoard 2 at most but leave it at that.
12. Do not hoard equipment and do convoluted circuits when the gym is super busy.
13. When in doubt, always ask for the spot. Even if you don't know people at the gym. This is also a great way to meet people.
14. When getting spotted for an exercise tell the spotter exactly how you want to be spotted.
15. If you're spotting someone give them words of encouragement and hype them up. This helps them lift more.
16. Don't do curls in the squat rack.
17. Avoid giving unsolicited advice. The only exception is if they look like they're gonna mess themselves up.
18. Don't stare at people. It's creepy af.
19. In the changing room don't be the dude who uses the hair dryer to dry his nether regions.
20. If you're video'ing yourself don't get mad if people get in your "shot". It's a public gym. Expect it and be courteous to others.
21. Don't be the guy hogging a piece of equipment for half an hour because you're scrolling your phone. Get off your phone and workout damnit.
I realize that not everyone will know these rules. It took me years to figure these things out.
In general, just be aware of your surroundings and be courteous.

Have you read it yet? It’s the game changer I suggested you and Angus read a few years back in your Tesla when we were driving to MakkyDs.
@moritzkremb Until AI is integrated into our lives completely then wont be able to give contextual aware responses. This will mean a lot of personal data sharing with the AI. Therefore A will be required until such a time.
