Work in UK HE with all those “experts”. Feminist, Social Democrat and long-suffering Labour member. Looking forward to England rejoining the EU in 2050...
@WG_RumblePants Seems to be very little mention of those doing the hard slog on the county circuit. I do particularly enjoy tuning in when any of Jonathan Doidge (Yorks), Adrian Harms (Sussex) or Dave Fletcher (Derby) are on comms
@bbctms@ZaltzCricket Rare stat from the weekend: We had two batsmen finish our innings on 99*! Final three balls were a 3, a dot and then another 3! They then BOTH proceeded to take a wicket with their 1st balls in the oppo's reply! https://t.co/hEo1tnksCg
3. this is not the moment for an incredibly expensive increase in state surveillance infrastructure to be run for profit by private tech firms just before Labour ushers in an (even more) authoritarian right wing government.
FIX THE GODDAMN COST OF LIVING INSTEAD YOU FREAKS.
I have nothing but contempt for the UK politicians and pundits who have spent the past 24 hours obsessing over a chant denouncing a military - the same military that meanwhile has been massacring civilians in Gaza, while those politicians and pundits ignore those killings.
Get in lads, we’re deliberately destroying both higher education and the care sector, to impress racist pensioners who hate us, don’t care what we do and will vote for Reform regardless
if someone on £139,000 a year (before you take into account the money her banker husband earns) cannot budget for a holiday to italy, how are we supposed to trust her with the economy?

If only Louise Haigh had accidentally deleted 5000 WhatsApp messages just before they were needed by a public inquiry, nobody would have questioned her mobile phone usage
Brexit cannot “work for the British people” and it’s dishonest or dogmatic to suppose otherwise. The most that can be achieved is to mitigate the damage. I don’t understand why Labour won’t say this when most people, especially the young, increasingly recognise it.
Oh this is a fun game.
Debt: 70% of GDP vs 100% of GDP
NHS waiting lists: 2.5 million vs 7.6 million
Kids in temporary accomodation: 38k vs 150k
Foodbanks: 35 vs 3000 (approx)
Shall we keep going?
@utd_pulse@TailendersPod@itsmattchin Not quite, a deliberate act of throwing/pushing the ball over the rope would lead to 5 penalty runs, so they'd concede 9!!
