@TheCinesthetic 2001: A Space Odyssey is the worst "masterpiece" I've ever seen. So slow and plodding and dull. The 27 mins of ape shit to open it is horrendous, but even if you skip that the film moves at a glacial pace. As great as the effects are for the time, I just can't with this movie.
