@driesvints@moneytreesapp I have a couple of clients on a maintenance package - so an invoice gets sent to them automatically every month.
It's the one feature that has kept me on Freshbooks for ages.
I'm not here much anymore, but I had to swing by just to say: that VILLAIN comes out ONE WEEK from TODAY and I am practically vibrating with excitement and The Anxiety™. It barely seems real, it has been a fucking JOURNEY getting here but the day has almost, finally, arrived.
If you are an org that could use this, or know of someone who could, please reach out. I'd love to hear about how you could use https://t.co/nr8pVnTdI9!
I've been building a fun little side project over the past couple of weeks. It's finally ready for showtime…
Meet https://t.co/nr8pVnTdI9 - a little app that allows orgs with their sites on Squarespace, Wix, etc. to have some basic event management on their site.
🧵
This has a very simple UI to create events and allows visitors to register right from their site. Super easy for non-technical people to use.
Really excited to launch this!
I'm working with a not-for-profit org that needed some basic event registrations for their free workshops.
Everything I looked at seemed overly complicated, took users away from their site and still required someone to add an integration into their sites.
@jessethanley@aarondfrancis@jamesqquick Agreed! I love seeing that these new, big features are coming… but I would just like to be able to cmd+v to paste for now!
I built a thing! A client has a simple website, but they need online workshop signups. With @getturnoutapp, they can manage their free events by pasting 1 line of code into their site. Perfect for the non-technical users.
We're building Turnout — the simplest way for small businesses to put an events calendar on their website and collect registrations.
No code. No Eventbrite redirects. Just paste a snippet and you're live.

I reported a pothole to the City of Toronto two ways, side by side.
Left: https://t.co/Me8fOAOLbb. 3 taps. 30 seconds. AI analyzes the photo, writes the report, emails 311 AND my councillor.
Right: https://t.co/7nut6eAcHD. 5 pages. 20+ fields. They ask ME to estimate pothole size!!
This is 2026. Why are citizens doing data entry?

@adamsilverhq Old dev here - I think the web lost it's way with SPAs to be honest. I continue to build SSR projects and when I do need interactivity, I use JS to perform those tasks on that specific page. The amount of layout shifting and loading spinners I see on a daily basis is maddening.
@IanLandsman A great YouTube channel talking about city design in Europe (especially NL) vs North America: https://t.co/IkdA8In3iB
It's a super fascinating channel
