Found: iPhone SE, in the road on SE 34th St, Vancouver WA. I will leave it at the desk of the Vancouver Police East Precinct, 520 SE 155th Ave, by 10am Monday (the Precinct is closed on the weekend).
@MSandersDP Very low. Those cameras use a very different remote protocol and stream format, and the cameras are too expensive for me to buy/rent for the time needed to make them work.
Fun with #iOS15: FieldMonitor uses live text recognition to read a Canon’s SSID and password for automatic connection — no faffing about with Wi-Fi settings.

@gtangjr@editblog I expect it will behave the same way with the FX3 as with the A7Siii, but I need to verify that before I claim it! I have several testers with A1s and A7Siiis already, thanks. You have both? Lucky fellow! :-)
@aloksahay No, the camera itself goes entirely dead: no displays, and no controls work other than power zoom. You can't even focus an XF or XC lens! Unless you use a mechanical manual-focus lens and work entirely through the app, Fujifilms are NOT usable over Wi-Fi.
Lots of stuff in this update to FieldMonitor for iPhone (https://t.co/vs8rARxQbv), including some Fujifilm support. But beware: the X-T3 ONLY shoots 1080p/29.97, and the X-T100 ONLY shoots 720p/24, when in remote mode!
@MarvellVisuals Sorry, it's Wi-Fi only; iPhones do not have HDMI-in capability. FieldMonitor allows 5 GHz support but most cameras do not have 5 GHz radios. Make sure BT is off: see https://t.co/0leldIvNhG
Finally: FieldMonitor now works with Canons (I know, I know: what took me so long?). And some Canons even transmit audio level info — RP does, 80D doesn't — so I can show a level meter. https://t.co/iXvSnC1fTd
@GuitarBrosDemos 2/2: "camera busy" is shown when the camera is busy responding to your direct control inputs, and can't be operated remotely. Stop turning the focus ring, and "camera busy" disappears. You can control the camera directly or remotely; not both at same time.
@GuitarBrosDemos 1/2: I don't know what focus lines are; do you mean peaking? The GH4 doesn't send a peaking image when recording; use FieldMonitor's Focus Assist instead.
@Phil_Sledge What kind of recorder? The WiFi feed is very low-res and intermittent, so not useful to record. For iPhone video I use Mavis (https://t.co/uwLqMmpKZ7); many recommend FiLMiC Pro (https://t.co/k63pgguzD1). There are audio recorders, too.
Looking for beta-testers: FieldMonitor for #Canon cameras. Got an EOS R or RP or DSLR that works with Canon's Camera Connect app? An iPhone / iPad? Let me know: [email protected]. I'll need an email address you get on your iDevice, as that's how beta invitations are sent.
