Eastleigh North is a vibrant business hub with hardworking families, traders, and youth. Yet it continues to face serious challenges that need urgent and practical solutions. From
poor drainage and sewerage systems that are causing flooding and health risks to unfair harassment of small traders by enforcement officers, congestion, and poor waste management, among many other issues.

With my candidature, i am presenting to you a leadership that is committed to being accessible, accountable, and dedicated to solving your plights. This is not about promises. it is about action, transparency, and putting the interest of Eastleigh North first.I humbly seek your support, prayers, and wise counsel as we begin this journey. I am deeply disappointed by the news that Omar Artan, Africa’s finest referee and one of the best in the world, may be unable to officiate at the FIFA World Cup due to visa-related circumstances.

Omar has earned his place through talent, hard work, professionalism, and integrity. Having officiated at the highest levels of African and international football, his credentials speak for themselves.

He represents not only Somalia, but also the aspirations of millions of young Africans who believe excellence should be recognized on the world stage.

I remain hopeful that a solution can be found. Football is at its best when it brings people together and celebrates merit, inclusion, and opportunity.

Today, I travelled to Ukambani countrysides (Vota, Machakos) to join the family and friends of Dr. Sam Kona and Hon. Veronica Mueni Nduva @SGNduva, in a richly traditional and beautiful Dowry Luncheon for their son Jeremy and his beautiful bride, Joan, at their home in Vota, #Machakos.

It was truly a great ceremony that brought together diverse cultural vibes from all corners of Kenya under one roof - The Kona family from Baragoi-Turkana sides, Veronica's backyard of Ukambani, the Melly family of Kericho/Nakuru (Bride's family), special prayers from Western Kenya (Pastor Walter Ojiambo, Presiding Pastor), Somali vibes from Nairobi, special salaams from Coastal lands, and many more incredible stories and faces from the breadth and length of this great country, Kenya.

We are truly a united nation of ONE PEOPLE, through our different cultures and traditions.

It was also a good opportunity for me to reconnect with good friends, including my brothers, Hon. Justice Issac Lenaola, Judge of the Supreme Court of Kenya - Chairman of the Dowry Committee, representing the Kona Family, and Saitoti Ole Maika, immediate former Director-General of the Financial Reporting Centre (FRC), the able Master of Ceremony.

I was honoured to be in such a great company.

Earlier this afternoon, I had the pleasure of hosting my colleague and good friend, Ambassador Isaac Njenga @Amb_IsaacNjenga, our immediate former High Commissioner to the United Republic of #Tanzania 🇹🇿, for a de-brief aka 'Downloading' session around a working lunch.

Balozi Isaac had an incredibly successful tour of duty in Dar-Es-Salaam, where he not only looked after the all-important #Kenya 🇰🇪 - #Tanzania 🇹🇿 bilateral file, but he also was responsible for driving Kenya's regional integration agenda within the East African Community @jumuiya.

I wish my good friend all the very best in his current new tasks, and all the future endeavors that lie ahead. 🙏🏿

The Festival of Breaking the Fast, Idd-ul-Fitr, crowns a month of devotion, sacrifice and spiritual reflection for Muslims across the world. It marks the end of the sacred Ramadan fast observed from dawn to dusk.

As we conclude the fast today, may our temptations, trials and tribulations also come to an end, giving way to renewed strength, peace and blessings.

The establishment of the National Infrastructure Fund fulfills a commitment made years earlier to create a financing mechanism capitalized through privatization proceeds, with the aim of gradually reducing reliance on the national budget for commercially viable infrastructure projects.

The privatization of the Kenya Pipeline Company will raise KSh 106 billion, providing the seed capital for the Fund and marking the realization of that vision.

What once appeared as an ambitious proposal has now taken concrete shape, laying the foundation for a new model of financing Kenya's infrastructure development.

#Kenya 🇰🇪, which has been honoured to Chair the top-most Organ of the East African Community @jumuiya for the last one year, will present its report on the successes the Community registered, and the challenges - all of them surmountable - that are standing in the way to FULL integration for our region.

The Summit will provide guidance and give directions on how to deepen the integration process for the common benefit of all East Africans.

We sat down with our team in Arusha to align and exchange notes on Kenya's strategic interests in the East African Community (EAC) @jumuiya.

We are in Arusha for the preparatory meetings leading up to the 25th #EAC Ordinary Summit of Heads of State scheduled to take place in Arusha on March 7, 2026.

Earlier today, I had the honour of joining distinguished members of the East African business community at the 3rd East African Business and Investment Summit held in #Nairobi #Kenya 🇰🇪.

During the breakout session, I had the privilege of conferring with, and getting wise counsel from, His Excellency Dr. Manu Chandaria, eminent enterpreneur and industrialist who is the Founding Chairman of the East African Business Council.

I also had the opportunity to connect with my friend, Hon. Dennis Lazaro Londo, Deputy Minister, Industry and Trade, and immediate former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Republic of #Tanzania 🇹🇿, to discuss issues of mutual interest ahead of the 25th EAC Ordinary Summit of Heads of State scheduled for March 7, 2026, in #Arusha 🇹🇿.

The event was officially opened by Hon. @BeatriceAskul, Cabinet Secretary, @EACAffairsKenya.
